We’re Hiring: Part-Time Sales Advisor

Location: Bumpstart

Hours: Part-time (4 days per week, 25hrs)

Bumpstart is a premium baby and nursery retailer dedicated to supporting parents with honest advice, trusted products, and outstanding customer care. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming shopping experience where families feel confident, supported, and excited about their journey.

We’re growing, and we’re now looking for a sales-focused, customer-loving Part-Time Sales Advisor to join our friendly team.

The Role

This role is ideal for someone who loves helping customers, building relationships, and driving sales while delivering an exceptional in-store and online experience.

You’ll play a key role in:

  • Supporting customers with thoughtful, informed product advice

  • Confidently guiding families through big purchases (prams, car seats, nursery furniture & more)

  • Keeping the shop floor inviting, well-presented, and organised

  • Assisting with deliveries, collections, picking and packing orders (the job does require manual handling of heavy boxes - training provided)
  • Supporting order enquiries and customer communications

  • Learning from our experienced team, brand reps and supplier training 

  • Being a positive, reliable, and supportive team player

Who We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have retail or customer-facing experience (sales experience a bonus)

  • Are friendly, confident, and naturally good with people

  • Enjoy selling in a genuine, consultative way — we don't do pushy here!

  • Are organised, proactive, and keen to learn

  • Feel comfortable talking to customers about big, meaningful purchases

  • Are reliable, punctual, and enjoy being part of a supportive team

  • Have an interest in baby products, parenting, or family-focused retail (helpful but not essential)

Full training will be provided, attitude and enthusiasm matter most!

Working Pattern

This role is Part Time - 25 Hours a week:  

Thursday 10am - 5pm

Friday 10am - 5pm

Saturday 10am - 5pm

Sunday 11am - 3pm
