Returns & Refunds Policy

We hope you love your purchase from Bumpstart, but if you change your mind, you have 28 days from receiving your item to request a return.

Return Conditions

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags and labels attached

  • Please include your order number, name, address, and reason for return

  • Returns are at your own cost unless the item is faulty

  • Return address: Bumpstart Baby Shop, Coddimoor Farm, Coddimoor Lane, Whaddon, Milton Keynes MK17 0LR

Please note:

  • Original delivery charges (on orders under £75) are non-refundable

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item

  • We do not accept returns on:

    • Special order items not normally stocked

    • Made-to-measure mattresses

    • Nappies and related products

    • Pre-cut fabrics

Furniture Orders

Before ordering pre-assembled furniture, please ensure access to your property is suitable (e.g. doorways, stairs). If delivery fails due to limited access, the supplier may charge an additional fee.

If your order has already been dispatched when cancelled, you’ll need to cover the return shipping costs.


Faulty Items & Warranty

All products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Faults within 28 days: We'll exchange the item

  • Faults after 28 days: The item will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's discretion

  • Proof of purchase is required for all claims

If a fault is confirmed, we’ll refund your return postage. If accidental damage occurs, we may be able to offer a paid repair.
