Handmade in Wales, this chemical-free organic wool cot mattress is extra breathable and perfect for babies that suffer from allergies or eczema. It's also the only mattress in the UK to be certified organic by the Soil Association!

70x140cm and 10cm deep to fit standard sized cot beds. Suitable from 0-5 years and comes complete with a 5 year guarantee.

The combination of organic wool and cotton acts as a natural fire retardant , meaning that no fireproofing chemicals are used and each one of our organic baby mattresses passes UK fireproofing regulations (BS 7177) naturally.

The durable, non-removable cotton cover is water resistant, however we recommend you also use a mattress protector to keep your mattress clean and dry for longer.

What I'm Made of:

Coconut Coir -
The natural core of coconut coir acts like thousands of tiny springs, reducing pressure points and providing an evenly sprung support that lasts for years.

Organic Welsh Wool -
Six luxury layers of organic welsh wool create the perfect support for your baby, naturally dispersing moisture to provide an anti-dust mite environment and help prevent the growth of any harmful bacteria (foam cot mattresses have been proven to encourage the growth of bacteria).

Organic Cotton -
A luxurious, non-removable and durable Herringbone cotton cover holds everything in place and aids the breathability of the mattress.

Usage Guidelines:
ALWAYS use a waterproof mattress protector. Little Green Sheep mattresses are water resistant but not waterproof, and so using a waterproof mattress protector will help prolong the life of your mattress and help protect against dust mites.

We recommend turning your mattress every 3 months

Your mattress should be ventilated once a week perhaps during the time when the bedding is washed. Remove sheets and opened the bedroom window to evaporate any built up moisture

Every 3 months, take the mattress to a dry place (ideally outside), and beat the surface to remove any dust, keeping it nice and clean

Alternatively, vacuuming your mattress can help reduce the risk of dust mites

If your mattress is soiled, lightly sponge the cover with a mild detergent and air until completely dry
